Dogs have very similar nutritional needs to humans.
My dogs have fresh chicken, beef, liver, heart and kidney,vegetables and fish.They love sardines ! Omega 3 is important for doggies too. They also have a probiotic occasionally because, like humans, the centre of their immune system is in the gut and I give them occasional digestive enzymes too. When dogs eat grass, I believe they are seeking out the natural enzymes.
I like to have an emergency supply of packaged food in case I run out of fresh.
